Pakistan to import 3 lakh tonnes of wheat as markets go out of flour stocks

Pakistan has approved the import of 3 lakh tonnes of wheat to meet a shortage of flour supplies after the ingredient went out of stock in shops and markets. Roti makers shut in protest against government's orders to sell the staple food at controlled prices. An opposition party leader said the wheat crisis might be the result of a scam.
