The Pakistan Finance Ministry has decided to return the entire $3.5 billion debt owed to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) within this month. The repayment decision comes after months of uncertainty over the fate of the loans, which the UAE had recently transitioned to a month-to-month rollover basis. Pakistan will reportedly repay the amount in tranches through April.
