Pakistani armed group threatens Warner and other foreign players, asks them to pull out of PSL

An armed opposition group in Pakistan, Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, issued a public statement warning overseas cricketers, including David Warner and Steve Smith, against participating in PSL 2026. The group stated that players' safety cannot be guaranteed if they travel to Pakistan for the tournament. "If something happens to them, it will not be our responsibility," a commander of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar said.
