Pakistani javelin thrower Arshad breaches 90-metre mark for 1st time, wins gold at CWG

Pakistani javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem breached the 90-metre mark for the first time and bagged gold medal in the men's javelin throw at CWG 2022. The 25-year-old, whose personal best throw was 86.38 metres ahead of the final, registered a best throw of 90.18 metres in his fifth attempt to win the gold. He also set a Commonwealth Games record.
