An audio recording of a phone call between a PoK resident and local police has surfaced online. The man accused authorities of hiding the true scale of unrest and presenting a misleading picture of normalcy. When the police officer claimed the situation had stabilised, the man refuted it saying that people were killed after Pakistani forces opened fire.
