Palantir to gain access to UK's financial data after FCA contract: Report

US-based AI firm Palantir was awarded a contract by independent financial regulatory body Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), granting it access to sensitive UK data, The Guardian reported. Under the contract Palantir will use its Foundry to investigate data held by the FCA. Palantir will act as a "data processor", acting only on the instruction of the regulator, FCA said.
