Palestinian in Israel prison ends hunger strike after 103 days

A Palestinian prisoner held without charge by Israel has ended a 103-day hunger strike after being assured that his detention wouldn't be exceeded, the Palestinian Prisoners' Club advocacy group said. Maher Al-Akhras went on strike after he was arrested on July 27 under the Israeli administrative detention order. Akhras will be released on November 26, an Israeli security official said.
