Pancreatic cancer vaccine shows hope for future prevention

An experimental pancreatic cancer vaccine has shown promising early results by triggering strong immune responses in people at high genetic risk. The vaccine targets KRAS mutations before cancer develops and was found to be safe in a phase 1 trial. Larger studies are needed to confirm whether it can truly prevent pancreatic cancer.
