Pandalam police arrested Sujith, 45, within hours of an alleged attack on Vijesh Kumar near the Mudiyoorkonam Sastha Temple. Police said an old grudge led to the incident. Vijesh was found bleeding with deep cuts on his head and leg and was rushed to hospital. Sujith was later produced before court and remanded to judicial custody.
