Panipat couple die by suicide, daughter-in-law booked for abetment

A Panipat couple, Rajesh and Suman, allegedly died by suicide after months of harassment from their daughter-in-law and her family. They were found unconscious on May 9 and later died in hospital. Police have booked four people, including the daughter-in-law, under abetment to suicide charges. The family claims disputes over lifestyle choices and social media led to mental stress.
