'Paper-thin' loudspeaker that turns any surface into audio source made by MIT

Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have developed a "paper-thin" loudspeaker that can turn any surface into an active audio source. The loudspeaker weighs about as much as a dime and produces sound with minimal distortion. As per the researchers, the loudspeaker could be used like wallpaper to cover walls, cars, or aircraft interiors or for immersive entertainment.
