Papua New Guinea proclaims King Charles III as head of state

Papua New Guinea leaders held a ceremony to proclaim King Charles III as the country's new head of state and to acknowledge the passing away of Queen Elizabeth II. PM James Marape will meet the new King on Friday. Papua New Guinea is one of five countries in Asia and the Pacific where the British monarch is head of state.
