Paraguay footballer Matías Galarza was seen picking up and wearing referee Iván Barton's watch after it fell during their FIFA World Cup 2026 match against Türkiye. The device slipped off Barton's wrist during a first-half scuffle as he tried to separate players. Galarza reportedly returned it a few minutes later and faced no punishment for it.
