Paralympian Praveen, who switched from volleyball to high jump, receives Padma Shri

Paralympic gold medallist Praveen Kumar, who switched from volleyball to high jump during childhood, was honoured with the Padma Shri on Monday for his contribution to sports. Praveen's talent found better direction and momentum when he met his coach, Dr Satyapal Singh. "I remember one thing, when someone wins a gold medal, their country's national anthem is played," Praveen said.
