Paralysed man survives 4-hour ordeal with venomous snake

A paralysed elderly man in Odisha's Boudh district survived a terrifying four-hour encounter after a venomous snake wrapped itself around his hand while he lay helpless in bed. Unable to move due to a previous stroke, he remained still throughout the ordeal. Family members carefully monitored the situation and eventually freed him without provoking the reptile or suffering a snakebite.
