Paramount makes $108.4-billion bid to buy Warner Bros despite Netflix deal

Paramount Skydance on Monday launched a hostile bid worth $108.4 billion for Warner Bros Discovery, in an effort to outbid Netflix. Paramount said it would offer $30 per share for the media conglomerate. Last week, Netflix had agreed to buy a large part of Warner Bros Discovery's studio and streaming assets in an around $83-billion deal.
