Paramount to face ₹7.2 lakh crore debt after acquiring Warner Bros

Paramount CEO David Ellison said Paramount Skydance-Warner Bros Discovery merger will create an entity that would have a net debt of about $79 billion (₹7.27 lakh crore). The $110-billion deal, which was signed after Netflix refused to increase its offer, will see Paramount+ and HBO Max combine into a single platform. The deal may close in third quarter of 2026.
