Parents of Ariha, Indian kid in German foster care, given clean chit

German authorities have cleared all charges against the parents of Ariha Shah, a 5-year-old Indian girl who has been in German foster care since September 2021, her aunt Kinjal Shah said. "They can travel to India or any other country...Only our child remains held against her will," she said. Ariha was placed in foster care over a misunderstanding, Kinjal added.
