Paris deal's 1.5ºC limit still achievable, claims new study

An international team of researchers has claimed the "ambitious" Paris climate goal to limit global warming at 1.5ºC by 2100, is still possible. A researcher associated with the new analysis said, in 2015, the carbon cuts needed were "incompatible with democracy", however, with the current dip in prices of renewables, a 66% chance of meeting the goal still exists.
