Parle Industries shares jump 27% in 5 sessions over 'Melody' craze

Stock of Parle Industries almost hit upper circuit (5% gain) for fifth straight session on Tuesday. The stock first hit the upper circuit on May 20 after PM Narendra Modi gifted a packet of 'Melody' toffees to Italian PM Giorgia Meloni. Shares of Parle Industries, a company unrelated to Melody and its manufacturer Parle Products, have since jumped by 27%.
