Parliamentary panel suggests major changes in NEET & NTA after leak controversy

A Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, led by Congress MP Mukul Wasnik, has recommended conducting NEET-UG in multiple phases across states to ease logistical challenges and improve exam security. It also recommended that NTA, currently an autonomous body under the Education Ministry, be given statutory status through a law passed by Parliament. This follows the NEET leak controversy.
