Part of larger conspiracy: Murugha Mutt seer on rape allegations

Karnataka's Sri Murugha Mutt chief pontiff Shivamurthy Murugha Sharanaru, accused of raping minor girls, has denied the allegations and called it "part of a larger conspiracy" against him, police said. Sharanaru was interrogated for over 12 hours over three days. He also refuted the allegations of being a father of many minor girls sheltered in the mutt's hostel, police added.
