Part of mosque demolished during anti-encroachment drive in Delhi
A part of a mosque, which is reportedly around 250 years old, in Delhi's Bengali Market was demolished as part of anti-encroachment drive by Land and Development Office, CPWD and New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). An NDMC official said demolition was part of a regular drive to remove illegal encroachments. Mosque officials claimed the action was taken without any notice.
