Partha Pratim Sengupta appointed MD, CEO of Indian Overseas Bank

Partha Pratim Sengupta, Deputy MD and Chief Credit Officer at State Bank of India, has been appointed as the MD and CEO of Indian Overseas Bank. Sengupta replaced Karnam Sekar, who retired on June 30. Sengupta's appointment will be till the date of attaining superannuation, which is December 31, 2022, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, the bank said.
