Party that chose Thai Princess for PM faces ban after King's rebuke

The political party that nominated Thai Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi as its candidate for Prime Minister could be banned from March general election after an activist said he would file a petition seeking its dissolution. King Maha Vajiralongkorn, the Princess's younger brother, had earlier said it was "inappropriate" for members of the royal family to enter politics.
