Parul Chaudhary breaks her own 5000m national record

Indian long-distance runner Parul Chaudhary clocked 15:04.26 to finish second at the Meeting Nikaia 2026 in Nice, France on Saturday. The 31-year-old broke her own national record mark of 15:10.35 in the women's 5000m set in 2023. Ethiopia's Bereka Seniya Mohammed won the race in 15:03.85, finishing 0.41 seconds ahead of Parul.
