Parul Chaudhary clocks 2nd-fastest time for an Indian in 3000m steeplechase

Parul Chaudhary finished seventh in the women's 3000m steeplechase at the Shanghai Diamond League on Saturday. The national record holder clocked 9:12.84, the second-fastest time by an Indian woman, but slower than her personal best of 9:12.46. Uganda's Peruth Chemutai won the race in a world-leading 8:51.47, setting a new meet record.
