Passenger from cruise ship becomes 1st US national to test positive for Hantavirus

One of the 17 Americans who were evacuated from the cruise ship amid the hantavirus outbreak has tested positive for the illness, with another showing "mild symptoms", confirmed the US health department. Apart from this, at least six other passengers are under supervision. All US citizens and a US-based British national are being transported back to US in biocontainment units.
