Passports to be cancelled if namaz offered on roads: Meerut Police

Meerut Police has warned the Muslim worshippers not to offer namaz on roads during Eid prayers. "If someone found flouting the rule, their passports will be cancelled, among other actions," SP Avinash Pandey said. He added that there are 544 mosques and 146 Eidgahs in Meerut, and all of them have agreed to comply with the rules.
