Pat Cummins becomes Australia's new Test captain, Steve Smith to be his deputy

Pat Cummins has replaced Tim Paine as Australia's Test captain, becoming the first fast bowler to be the full-time skipper of Australia's men's Test team. Cummins is the 47th Test captain of Australia. His appointment comes after Tim Paine resigned from the post last week following revelations of a sexting incident from 2017. Steve Smith has been named Cummins' deputy.
