Patanjali to acquire Nutrela owner Ruchi Soya for ₹4,350 crore

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on Thursday approved Patanjali Ayurved's revised ₹4,350-crore bid to take over edible oil maker Ruchi Soya, which owed creditors over ₹12,100 crore. Ruchi Soya's leading brands include Nutrela, Sunrich and Ruchi Gold. The tribunal, however, sought clarity on the source of funds worth ₹600 crore which was part of the bid amount.
