Patidar equals Warne's record for 2nd most consecutive wins by IPL captain

RCB sealed a 43-run victory over CSK in IPL 2026, giving Rajat Patidar his eighth consecutive win as RCB skipper. With this, Patidar equalled late cricketer Shane Warne's record of eight consecutive wins as RR captain. The record for the most consecutive wins by an IPL captain is held by Gautam Gambhir, who won 10 consecutive games as KKR skipper.
