A patient identified as P.A. Haneefa reportedly fell from a moving ambulance in Fort Kochi after the stretcher belt was allegedly not fastened and the door was not securely locked. Police registered a case against the ambulance driver for alleged negligence after footage of the August 8 incident surfaced online. An investigation is underway.
