Patient falls while sitting on edge of Kolkata hospital's 7th floor, dies

A male patient died after falling from the seventh floor of a private hospital in Kolkata's Mullick Bazar on Saturday. Police said the patient escaped from his bed and sat on the edge of a cornice for over two hours, before he slipped and fell. He had allegedly threatened to jump after a hydraulic ladder was brought to help him.
