Patient who later died of hantavirus was 'briefly' on an international flight

A passenger, who later died of hantavirus, was briefly on board a KLM flight from Johannesburg before being removed prior to take-off, said the airline. "Due to passenger's medical condition at the time, crew decided not to allow...the passenger...to travel on the flight," added KLM. Dutch health authorities are contacting those who were aboard "as a precaution", the airline stated.
