Patole resigns as Maha Congress chief after loss in polls: Reports
Nana Patole has reportedly resigned as Maharashtra Congress chief. The development came two days after the MVA, comprising Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCPSP, faced a defeat in the just concluded Maharashtra elections. Notably, Congress won only 16 seats out of the 103 seats it contested in Maharashtra. Patole himself won from Sakoli with a margin of just 208 votes.
