Paul Stirling breaks Rohit Sharma's record for playing most matches in T20I cricket history

Ireland captain Paul Stirling on Thursday created history by becoming the most-capped player in T20I cricket history. The first T20I against UAE was Stirling's 160th T20I match. He broke the record held by former India captain Rohit Sharma, who played 159 matches in T20I cricket. Rohit is followed by Ireland's George Dockrell, who has played 153 matches.
