Pawan Khera's anticipatory bail plea rejected in passport case

The Gauhati High Court on Friday rejected Congress leader Pawan Khera's anticipatory bail plea in connection with an FIR filed by Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma's wife, Riniki Bhuyan Sharma. The court had reserved the final order after hearing both sides on April 21. Notably, Khera had claimed that Riniki possesses multiple passports and undisclosed assets abroad.
