Paying ₹1,000 cr tax, created jobs: Zepto CEO as Goyal criticises Indian startups

After Union Minister Piyush Goyal criticised Indian startups and asked, "Are we going to be happy being delivery boys and girls," Zepto CEO Aadit Palicha responded, "It is easy to criticise consumer internet startups in India." Aadit added, "There are almost 1.5 lakh people earning livelihoods on Zepto today...₹1,000+ crore of tax contribution (made) to government per year."
