Bengaluru-based ClearTax, that facilitates online filing of taxes, has raised $1.3 million in seed funding from Silicon Valley investors including PayPal Co-founder Max Levchin. Other investors include WhatsApp business head Neeraj Arora, Uber investor Scott Banister and Dropbox VP Ruchi Sanghvi. The startup was founded in 2011 by Archit Gupta, Raja Ram Gupta, Srivatsan Chari, and Ankit Solanki.
