Following a sharp increase in Paytm’s valuation, founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma has become a billionaire with a net worth of $1.10 billion (₹7,300 crore), as per Hurun’s 2016 Rich List. Flipkart Co-founders Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal’s wealth dropped to $812 million (₹5,400 crore) each, from $1.35 billion (₹9,010 crore) due to a drop in Flipkart's valuation.
