PayU appoints former Reliance Payments exec as its India CEO

South African conglomerate Naspers-owned online payments service provider PayU has appointed former Reliance Payments co-chief executive Anirban Mukherjee as its India CEO. Mukherjee will replace Amrish Rau, who is transitioning into Naspers' Head of Financial Technology Partnerships and Investments role. An IIT Kharagpur and IIM Ahmedabad alumnus, Mukherjee has also worked with Capital One.
