PCMC to go for retendering of parking project after contractor quits

The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) in Pune has brought its Pay and Park project to a halt, after the contractor called it "unaffordable". PCMC executive Babu Gaikwad said that they will have to go for retendering of the project. The PCMC started the Pay and Park project in March 2021 and identified 386 spots for setting up parking lots.
