PDP leader Iltija concedes defeat, says 'Accept verdict of people'

PDP leader Iltija Mufti, daughter of former J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti, conceded defeat from the Srigufwara-Bijbehara constituency on Tuesday. She was trailing after halfway counting in the constituency. Taking to X, Iltija said, "I accept the verdict of people. The love and affection I received from everyone...will...stay with me." NC leader Bashir Ahmad Shah Veeri has meanwhile taken the lead.
