Peloton stock jumps on reports of Amazon, Nike exploring bids to buy it

Shares of home fitness startup Peloton surged 26% in extended trading on Friday after media reports claimed Peloton has drawn interest from potential buyers including Amazon and Nike. Amazon and Nike are evaluating separate bids for Peloton and have not held direct talks with Peloton, the reports said. Last month, investor Blackwells Capital urged Peloton's board to pursue a sale.
