Pennsylvania stops punishing inmates by using food loaves

Prisons in Pennsylvania, United States have stopped punishing inmates for misbehaving with their meals by serving them food loaves. The Nutraloaf consisted of beans, raw potatoes, cabbage, oatmeal, rice and carrots. It has been replaced by packed meals containing fruits, vegetables, milk and bread. Notably, prisoners in Pennsylvania have previously filed lawsuits over prison food.
