Pension can't be deducted while computing MV Act compensation: SC

The Supreme Court clarified that pension can't be treated as a pecuniary advantage liable to be deducted for computing compensation under the Motor Vehicles Act. The Court clarified that any amount receivable on account of PF, pension or insurance cannot be deducted from the salary of the victim for determining the income or loss of earning for calculating compensation.
