Pentagon launches AI portal without Anthropic's Claude

The Pentagon's GenAI.mil platform now hosts ChatGPT Mil, Grok for Government, and Google Gemini, serving 3 million defence personnel. Anthropic's Claude was excluded after the company demanded contractual bans on mass surveillance and lethal autonomous weapons use. A federal court later ruled the Pentagon's retaliatory supply-chain designation against Anthropic illegal.
