Pentagon probes suspected cyberattack on military freezers

The Pentagon is investigating a suspected hack after freezer malfunctions spoiled food at six US military commissaries in August. Investigators are coordinating with French counterparts over similar cyberattacks on commercial freezers across 350+ establishments in France. In at least one US case, freezer temperatures were cranked up overnight, ruining food. No conclusions on perpetrators yet.
