People across nation clap, ring bells from balconies to thank emergency workers

People across the country clapped, rang bells and beat metal plates from their balconies at 5 pm to thank the emergency workers helping in the fight against coronavirus. PM Narendra Modi had appealed to people to clap as a mark of gratitude towards the emergency workers. India is observing 'Janata Curfew' today till 9 pm.
